SPRING OPEN WEEKEND IN PICTURES: PART 2
It’s here! Without further delay, we want to share with you the second in a series of images from our Spring Open Weekend at Escrick Park Estate. Captured by the very talented Natasha Cadman Photography, this series, we’ll be celebrating our beloved Teepees, beautifully styled with whimsical, cascading florals by Forage and Blossom.
Interpreting the ‘Enchanted Garden’ brief, Alice of Forage and Blossom created the most ethereal flowers, using elegant taper candles to add warmth and light. Whilst decadent hand dyed silk runners by Lancaster and Cornish add the ultimate in majestic texture.
Bright seasonal Spring blooms and trailing greenery hung from the 2m wooden swing, creating the perfect focal point above the central Farmhouse Table and Cross Back Chairs.
Top Tip: Use hanging installations such as the 2m wooden swing to give prominence to a table and to denote it as the top table.
Hanging installations weren’t limited to the 2m wooden swing, with the 3m hoop, cartwheel and of course our giant mirror ball making an appearance and showcasing the Teepees scope for creating the ultimate party space.
The 3m hoop romantically adorned with blossom branches and lit by draped festoon lights (hanging from the cartwheel), exhibited a totally different and previously unseen look – the perfect celebration for the first buds of Spring.
Bringing the event to life and giving depth and realism, Sweet Sugar Sixpence provided the ultimate naked cake with layers of delicious sponge and delicate sugar laced intricacies. Hand painted stationery by Georgina Rigby of Rigby Design House further displayed her versatility, with a range of artfully designed menus, tables places and names showcasing Georgina’s talents.
Our Kungs celebrated the Hygge state of ‘just being’, with the help of open fires, the scent from our Share the Love candle and some carefully placed reading material to encourage guests to relax and enjoy the cosy, warm and inviting space.
Next week we’ll be sharing supplier details with emphasis on our catering friends, if you’re not hungry or thirsty before you read it, you will be when you’ve finished! PK x
