Wedding trend 2015: Hanging Elements

For those of you planning a wedding or event in 2015 it most likely hasn’t escaped your attention that taking your lighting, flowers and decorations skywards and hanging them from your venue interior is the way to go!

We’re always looking for innovative ways to decorate our beautiful tents, in the hope that we can help inspire and excite those planning an event to create an environment that’s as memorable, fabulous and as unique they are. Hanging your decorations from above is not only hugely impactful, it gives your venue a magical and ethereal feel. It is also a practical way of decorating your venue without compromising limited space on your tables; leaving more room for the essentials – beautiful glassware, crockery and cutlery, name places and of course the obligatory festive beverages.

There is no better back drop to achieve this look both visually and practically than the Teepees with their rustic poles and now since the addition of the floating grid, the Sperry Tents too can make this trend a reality. The floating grid allows you to hang most decorative elements, from paper globe lanterns, pom-poms and flowers to create a ceiling of beautiful details to compliment your event styling.

In addition to the floating grid, filament bulbs and floral crowns join our existing hanging elements such as our popular wooden swings – often seen over the top table, giant mirror ball and various lighting options. So even if you’re not 100% sure how to embrace this trend and introduce it into your event interior we’ll have some ideas and would love to work with you to create a spectacular event space that your guests will remember for years to come.
