TREND 2017: Bring the outside in with a Herb Cocktail Bar or terrace at your wedding or event

With palm trees and leafy green botanicals featuring in everyone who’s anyone’s social feed, we’re assuming we’re not the only ones to have squealed for joy when we saw earthy green ‘Kale’ make Pantone’s colour of the year for 2017! In celebration of all things green, and to show our commitment to the trend, we’ve introduced the Herb Cocktail Bar to our Finishing Touches portfolio. Overflowing with fresh vibrant herbs, not only is this a practical item to compliment your wedding and event furnishings, but from the Herb Cocktail Bar, your guests can be treated to mojitos made with freshly plucked mint, or, as gin is having such a moment (and another current commitment of ours!) why not create a bespoke gin cocktail, with a hint of basil, rosemary or sage for a fresh and subtle twist? The results will be a sweet scented, beautifully botanical Sperry or Teepee interior with some very happy guests!

If cocktail’s aren’t your thing, other ways to help you to bring the outside in are with the introduction of trees, hanging arrangements and even cacti. Alternatively, allow guests the option to explore, encouraged outside by open Sperry or Teepee sides and a dedicated matted terrace, or a naked tipi! Relaxed seating and festoon lighting will provide guests with a quiet space to retreat and rest weary feet in nature’s surroundings and later under a starlit night sky.

Seeing our tents adorned with all manner of floral installations really makes them come to life, and there’s something so uninhibited and sincere about pure greenery! Succulents, cacti and herb filled terrariums make for the best centrepieces, whilst our very favourites are trees inside the tents! Bushy bamboos and leafy palms make for an exotic feel, or try the classic silhouette of olive trees and wispy multi-stem birch trees for a romantic, whimsical and Mediterranean vibe.
