Festivals and Events: What’s On And Where You’ll Find PapaKåta This Summer…

Here at PapaKåta, we’re heading into our thirteenth season of fabulous events. For some thirteen may be unlucky, but for us, this year promises to be one of the best yet! As well as creating bespoke wedding venues for our PapaKåta Brides and Grooms, we’ll also be working with some of the UK’s finest festivals and high-end public events. This season will see us travelling the length and breadth of the country and our Teepees and Sperry Tents will be at home in some of the most idyllic settings and picturesque country house estates the UK has to offer.

Whilst we hold two PapaKåta Open Weekend events a year, we understand that you just can’t wait to see our beautiful Teepees and stunning Sperry Tents in all their glory…and who could blame you! So, here’s our lowdown of what’s going on and which events you’ll find our PapaKåta Teepees and Sperry Tents at this Summer…

Sperry Tent Event: RHS Chatsworth Flower Show, Chatsworth House 6^th – 10^th June 2018
Are you a green-fingered goddess? Do you know your Bergamots from Chrysanthemums? Join us under the dramatic peaks of our Sperry Tent. Stimulate your senses with exotic blooms and immerse yourself amongst a range of botanical delights by world-famous floral enthusiasts. A river of flowers, orchids and a living laboratory, combined with the opportunity to see our stunning Sperry Tent make this year’s show unmissable! Turn your friends green with envy and create a bright and beautiful social feed at what promises to be one of the most Instagramable weekends. Chatsworth Flower Show, 6^th-10^th June 2018.

Teepee Tent Event: Download Festival, Donington Park 8^th -10^th June 2018
From rocking weddings to rock and metal…for the ninth year running our giant Teepees will create the VIP backstage area, playing host to Ozzy Osbourne and Marilyn Manson amongst other rock and metal legends. Join the likes of Guns n’ Roses, Marmozets and Bullet For My Valentine at Donington Park -the spiritual home of rock! Download Festival, 8^th-10^th June 2018.

Sperry Tent Event: Royal Ascot, Ascot Racecourse, 19^th– 24^th June 2018
Hats and race day finery at the ready! For the first year, our Sperry Tent will be at home in the stylish surroundings of the Village Enclosure at Royal Ascot. The Village Enclosure offers a unique perspective of the Royal Procession and exhilarating racing action, all set against the backdrop of the iconic Ascot Grandstand. As the sun sets on our Sperry Tent, the celebration in the Village continues with live DJs and bands until 9 pm. Royal Ascot, 19th-24th June 2018.

Teepee Tent Event: Gin Festival, Victoria Gardens Leeds, 22^nd– 24^th June  2018
Gin, gin and more gin! For the second year running, we’ll be back at Victoria Gardens, Leeds for the annual Gin Festival. You’ll be able to enjoy craft gins, tasty food and fantastic entertainment under the canopy of three of our giant Teepees. With distillers to answer your every question, street food and gin samples aplenty, it’s sure to be a weekend to remember… or, forget?! We won’t judge! Gin Festival, 22nd -24th June 2018.

Sperry Tent Event: RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, Hampton Court Palace, Surrey, 3rd-8th July 2018
Gorgeous gardens, fabulous florals and fantastic shopping. The iconic Hampton Court Flower Show is a fun-filled family day out. Expect show gardens packed with inspirational ideas for you to try at home. Or, perhaps pick up some floral tips to prepare you for your own forthcoming nuptials?! If all this inspiration leaves you a little light-headed, kick back in the serene setting of our Sperry Tents whilst enjoying a well-deserved mid-summer tipple. Sperry Tent Event: Wilderness Festival, Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire, 2^nd – 5th August 2018
Wilderness Festival continues to be a PapaKåta favourite. This will be our fourth consecutive year providing the family-friendly festival with our Sperry Tent to house its infamous Long Table Banquet. The concept behind the Long Table Banquets is luxurious, large-scale communal dining. Bringing the most exciting chefs to present their menus to you in the decadent surrounds of our beautiful Sperry Tent banqueting hall. In addition to convivial feasts, there’ll be theatre performances and talks by some of the most influential speakers, thinkers and cultural institutions, as well as music by Bastille, Waze and Odyssey and George Fitzgerald. When you’ve nurtured your mind, you can even enjoy some downtime at the Wilderness wellbeing lakeside spa! Wilderness Festival,  2nd-5th August 2018.

Teepee Tent Event: Creamfields, Cheshire, 23rd – 25th August 2018
See out the summer in style and enjoy some of the house music scenes most influential performers, with Annie Mac, Hannah Wants and Danny Howard to name a few. Tipped as the fastest selling Creamfields in history, tickets are expected to go quicker than the flash of a glow stick…sorry we couldn’t resist! So, if house music is your thing and you want to try out our Teepees and enjoy the vibes of this legendary house festival, act quickly! Creamfields, 23rd-25th August 2018.

Teepee & Sperry Tent Event: PapaKåta Autumn Open Weekend, Escrick Park, York, 13th – 14th October 2018
