SPRING OPEN WEEKEND IN PICTURES: PART 1 – THE SPERRY TENT
A belated thank you to all those who joined us for our Spring Open Weekend. It is always so lovely to see so many friendly faces. The fact that so many of you ventured out in the not so spring-like conditions to join us in a ‘snowy’ Escrick Park, made us appreciate your wedding and event planning dedication all the more!
We were so lucky to work with a fabulous supplier line-up and we hope you agree that our Sperry Tents and Teepees looked stunning as a result of everyone’s hard work and creative input. Over the next few blog posts, you’ll see our wedding and event tents brought to life with some stunning ‘Romantic Meadow’ styling in association with Natalie Hewitt Wedding & Events, all beautifully captured by Dominic & Zoe Wright. We’re not going to lie, it’s been tough sitting on all of these beautiful images since March, but the wonderful coverage in Rock My Wedding last week makes being able to share them with you now all the sweeter.

Visitors were treated to Springtime florals, beautifully curated by Leafy Couture and set off by the rustic backdrop of our Farmhouse Tables, Cross Back Chairs and Circular Oak Bar.
A stunning Two-tier Hoop and Floral Beam created a dramatic focal point, drawing the eye up with luscious foliage and bright florals, creating a striking contrast against the oyster-coloured canvas of the Sperry Tent.

Wedding and Event Planner Natalie Hewitt chose clean and crisp tableware by Whitehouse Event Crockery. Mink coloured candles and Silk & Purl’s loosely knotted linens added warmth and texture, softening the exposed wooden tables and chairs.

Further pops of colour came in the form of I am Nat’s vibrant stationery. With classic typeface and contemporary floral prints to give the perfect balance between romance and modernity.

A floral Moon Gate by Leafy Couture provided a show-stopping backdrop to Booth Revolution’s already eye-catching vintage photo booth.
As well as being purveyors of the finest of food, it turns out that Blakefield’s are also a dab hand at decor…beautifully dressing the newest addition to our Finishing Touches Portfolio – our handcrafted Copper and Crate Back Bar.
Cosy seating and sumptuous soft furnishings allowed guests to try out and test our chillout furniture first-hand; with many choosing to stay snuggled here in cosy nooks, rather than braving the elements outside the tents!

Soulful tunes were provided by Upside your Mind. Meanwhile, fine reading fodder came in the form of ‘The PapaKåta Post’ – provided by the skilled publicists at The Newspaper Club. If you’re thinking of an innovative favour for your own wedding or event, and you want to bring guests bang up to date with a brief bulletin of your romance, or a potted history of life thus far, you can’t go wrong with a personalised paper.
Brolly Bucket sent a suitably spring-summer like collection of pristine white brollies. They looked stunning in their wicker basket and suited the snowy backdrop to a T!
