Spring Open Weekend: 10 Things you won’t want to miss
Here at PapaKåta HQ we’re busy making plans for our Spring Open Weekend. In the very same way Brides, Grooms and Event Planners are making preparations for their own events, we’re pulling together months of planning to ensure that the event runs smoothly and looks beautiful.
With over 10 years of experience and having created over 2,000 bespoke events as unique and as special as those who have partied in them, we know a thing or two about what it takes to make event magic with memories that will last a lifetime. We’re keen to share some pearls of wisdom and tricks of the trade with you, as if that weren’t enough to tempt you to join us, here are 10 reasons why coming to our Spring Open Weekend on the 18th & 19th March is a good idea…
1. Whilst it’s so important that your wedding or event stands the test of time and remains fresh and current, it’s hard not to be swayed by those top trends and swoon over those InstaInspo pics! We work hard to identify current trends that will look as timeless and remain as fresh as the day you partied amongst them.
2. With every season we make additions to our carefully selected edit of Finishing Touches, this Open Weekend will see two new bespoke furnishings to accompany our existing pieces including the much coveted cross back chairs and stylish farmhouse-luxe tables. The Open Weekend is the perfect opportunity to peruse our luxury portfolio of furnishings, you’ll be spoilt for choice and the only problem you’ll then be faced with is how you can incorporate them ALL into your own event!
3. See our Enchanted Garden come to life before your eyes with beautiful botanicals created by Susie Hart and Forage and Blossom. With tablescape inspiration a plenty and hanging floral installations to woo and wow in equal measure.
4. Expect a master class in Yorkshire charcuterie and the ultimate farmhouse platters, with layered textural details and artistic food styling by Home Grown Hospitality. A delicious feast to satisfy both eyes and tummies alike and with a selection of hot drinks and sweet treats, it’ll feel less like an Open Day and more like a welcome weekend retreat!
5. If sweet treats are your thing then you can rest assured your sweet tooth will be well catered for, with further sugary delicacies by the Belgium Waffle Tuk. Served from their very own vintage Tuk, this is Street food gone European and oh so cosmopolitan.
6. Those cheeky chaps at Ice & a Slice can’t wait to offer you a tipple or two to get those creative juices flowing and inspire you for a day of planning!
7. Seasoned PapaKåta Event Photographer Natasha Cadman will be shooting those essential style details. If all you want to do is sit back and relax in our Teepees and Sperry tents whilst imagining your day unfold, we’ve got the details in hand; we will be in touch following the Open Weekend with a round up of the event and what is sure to be an inspiring gallery.
8. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Escrick Park Estate, complete with an outdoor woodland ceremony area, if you haven’t already booked your venue, this is a picture perfect setting and if you have, then come and fall in love with it’s rural charm and enjoy relaxing in one of Yorkshires finest Estates.
9. As well as offering our own expertise, we’ve partnered with some of the finest suppliers in the industry to help with your event and wedding planning needs. In addition to those listed above, we’ll have Event Planner Lucy Wright there on the day to answer your questions and advise on timings and the smooth running of your day.
10. Meet the PapaKåta Team! We’ll be ready and awaiting your arrival, it really is the best time of the year for us, putting those names to faces and meeting new ones, whilst having the privilege of showing you our show stopping Teepees and Stunning Sperry’s. We’ll be able to walk you through the tents and answer any unanswered questions you may have.
We’re sure you’ll love our Teepees and Sperry tents as much as we do and we can’t wait to welcome you over the course of the weekend. We’ll be there between 10am and 3pm, appointments are highly recommended for those of you who would like to sit down, chat through your event and have your questions answered, please call 01904 702100 or email tellmemore@papakata.co.uk to book. If however you’d prefer to peruse at your leisure then please do just pop in and make yourselves at home.
