Sharing the love

At PapaHQ, we’re all about sharing the love. So where we can, we like to give a little back, and over the last 12 months we’ve been working with some truly inspirational charity partners.

We were delighted to help The Prince’s Trust with their Palace to Palace bike ride. 4,000 cyclists took part, riding 45 miles or 90 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle and raising vital funds for the youth charity. Not one, but three of our shiny new Sperry tents made up the race end village, welcoming riders with refreshments, goody bags and massages!

From sporting fun to high glamour, our teepees have hosted some fabulous charity fundraising nights. The fabulous Acorn Charity Committee‘s Apres Ski Party raised over £22k for people with dementia and their carers in the Harrogate, Ripon and Wetherby Area and for research into scleroderma disease at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

And this weekend, nine of our beautiful teepees will create a totally breathtaking space for the 360 guests attending The Country Ball. This year’s event is being held in support of Candlelighters, a children’s cancer charity based in Yorkshire. The evening’s festivities will include the chance to win a beautiful diamond pendant, a plethora of fabulous prize draw items and an exclusive mini auction followed by dancing into the early hours!

Closer to home, we’ve also proudly supported Help for Heroes with a local hog roast and family fun day near PapaKåta HQ, all centred around one of our magical teepees.

We’ve loved supporting these incredible partners, and plan to share the Papa love into 2015 and beyond.
