The Prince’s Trust: Palace to Palace
This Sunday, 13th September sees us working with The Prince’s Trust for their fabulous Palace to Palace charity cycle ride. This is the second year running that we’ve provided one of our beautiful Sperry tents for the event, supporting The Prince’s Trust and helping to raise vital funds for the charity.
The Sperry tent will offer a welcome shelter for cyclists at the End Village, Windsor Castle. Following their 45 or 90 mile cycle ride; riders will be greeted with a well-deserved goody bag and a much needed place to relax after the ride.
This is the 10th Anniversary of Palace to Palace and over the last 10 years, more than 1.2million miles have been cycled by people challenging themselves – mentally and physically – while raising money to help young people succeed in life.
730 cyclists took on the inaugural challenge – and now over 3,500 riders of all abilities are welcomed to take part in what will be the biggest ever event.
Starting at Buckingham Palace and taking in the sights of London, the ride concludes with an exclusive route down The Long Walk towards Windsor Castle, which is usually for pedestrians only. And when cyclists cross the finishing line, they’ll be invited to celebrate their incredible achievement with friends and family in our Sperry tent at the End Village. Along with food and drinks stalls, there will be free family entertainment, inflatables, music and games – as well as plenty of places to relax.
