PapaKåta Autumn Open Weekend: Your Wedding & Event Suppliers Sorted

Join us for the PapaKåta Autumn Open Weekend on the 13^th & 14^th October 2018 at Escrick Park. We’ll be there with our beautiful Sperry Tents, Teepees and Finishing Touches, as well as a handpicked selection of the very best wedding and event industry suppliers. We’ll be awaiting your arrival and ready to answer your every wedding and event question and query!

Lucy Wright Wedding & Events
We’ve worked with Lucy Wright on over 10 PapaKåta weddings and events. Not only does this make us beautifully aligned to create event perfection for our Autumn Open Weekend, but it also puts us in the perfect position to sing Lucy’s praises as one of our favourite event suppliers!

Personable and practical, Lucy has a unique way of understanding your vision and with an enviable list of supplier contacts (PapaKåta amongst them), Lucy has the perfect tools to make your wedding and event dreams a reality.

Natasha Cadman Wedding Photography
We’re lucky enough to have had a number of our Teepee and Sperry Tent events shot by Natasha Cadman. Natasha’s happy, easy-going manner makes her a firm favourite with Brides, Grooms and PapaKåta alike. Nothing is ever too much trouble and Natasha always photographs with a smile on her face. Meanwhile, Natasha has the dedication and true grit to ensure she captures your event in picture perfection. We’re not sure what we’re most excited about, to be working with Natasha on our pre-open weekend style shoot, or to see the images following the event.

Baba Ganoush Catering
Baba Ganoush Catering are award-winning event caterers who pride themselves on their bespoke menus and creative catering team. The Yorkshire Bar Tender
Since 2015, the Yorkshire Bartender have been shaking up parties across the UK, providing a professional and entertaining bar-tending service. Booth Revolution
Booth Revolution is a fresh new take on the old school classic photo booth. A fun and exciting memory-maker and the latest entertainment for any event, party or wedding reception. Squeeze a group of your guests inside one of their booths, or in front of the retro-style camera, grab a silly prop, press the button and strike a pose! Red Floral Architecture
For a number of reasons, the PapaKåta Autumn open weekend will be a floral first. Not only will we be working with Mat Hepplestone (the award-winning designer behind Red Floral Architecture) for the first time, but Mat will be extending his floral displays from both the tops of our Teepees to the tips of our Sperry Tents. We’re excited to be working with the team who’ve seen their floral displays grace the pages of glossy magazines and televisions screens across the UK and to see how they enhance our tents with their contemporary floral creations.

Whitehouse Event Crockery
Every host wants their party to be remembered long after the last guests go home. It’s all about the detail and Whitehouse Event Crockery ensures every table is set to perfection by supplying one of the UK’s most impressive ranges of classic and contemporary table and glassware. In their own words ‘our raison d’être’ (that’s reason for being to you and I!) ‘is to make sure that your tables look as dazzlingly gorgeous as you do’.

Ellie Sax and The Switch Entertainment
We pride ourselves on making our Open Weekends an event in their own right; one that our guests enjoy attending and one that we equally love. And the best part… showing off our tents and furnishings in all their glory whilst meeting the faces behind the phone calls and emails.

What makes the Open Weekend even more of an occasion, is the catering and service providers who help us bring the event to life. Nothing does this more than live music. As music lovers ourselves, we’re so excited to be welcoming world renowned Saxophonist Ellie Sax and DJ Switch Entertainment. The husband and wife duo will be bringing the cool to our Teepees and Sperry Tents. Think chilled out Ibiza vibes for you to enjoy on the day and consider treating your guests to at your own special event.

Where The Ribbon Ends
If you’re looking for cake artistry that looks as good as it tastes, then you need to meet Gayle from Where the Ribbon Ends! On the first conversation with Gayle, you’ll soon realise that there is equal emphasis on both the look and taste of your cake. Gayle will whet your appetite as she reels off delicious sounding combinations – anyone for white chocolate sponge with raspberry filling, or dark chocolate ganache with a delicate sponge?! All of Gayle’s cakes are designed with your wedding or event décor and style in mind.
