PapaKåta Open Weekend North: Last chance to book
Having met with so many lovely guests and made some new supplier friends at our first ever Open Day in the South of England, we’re all fired up and ready to go for next weekend’s Northern Open Weekend.
Be sure to book an appointment to sit down with one of our dedicated events team and to receive one of our much-coveted Papa Planners. Call us on 01904 702 100 or email tellmemore@papakata.co.uk to book…
Our beautiful Teepees and Sperry Tents will be returning to their spiritual home of Escrick Park, York on the 10th & 11th October. Along with the PapaKåta team there will be a plethora of talented suppliers to help inspire and guide you when making important decisions for your event.
Drawing inspiration from some of our favourite events this year, the team are planning a vibrant and colorful introduction to the world of PapaKåta. Expect festival wedding inspired details and artistic influences from some of this summer’s festivals themselves. The Teepees will be celebrating in a riot of colour, with loose eclectic flowers by Forage & Blossom Flowers.
Meanwhile the Sperry Tents will be filled with warm, brightly coloured blooms by Lucy MacNicoll Floral Design and juxtaposed with traditional royal blue toile to perfectly compliment the oyster coloured canvas. Floral crowns will draw the eye skyward towards the delicate sailcloth detailing and make the most of the unique interior hanging space.
Hog & Apple are making a welcome return, ensuring tummys and souls are replenished with mouthwatering street food. And if there was any doubt in your mind about whether or not ‘all the best parties really do happen in a PapaKåta tent’, cocktails by Speakeasy Libations including the bespoke Neon Tiki cocktail and uplifting beats by DJ Boon Grant Saker should quash any such doubts.
Booth Revolution will capture guests on arrival in fun instant prints as a take home memento, and Melia Melia Photography will be documenting the day and on hand to answer any photography related questions you may have.
Naked cakes remain to be ever popular amongst our Brides, Grooms and event planners for 2015, however we have seen the emmergence of the painted cake as a new hero on the confetionary front! In celebration of our festival themed Open Weekend, cake designer Tala Mayamey is creating a handpainted cake, as eyecatching as it is delicous, we’re sure!
Following the debut of their ‘on trend’ gold foil stationery collection at the PapaKåta Open Day South, The Charming Press will be returning to share with us their beautifully illustrated stationery and to discuss your event stationery needs.
Appointments are available on both Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm, booking highly recommended.
All those who book an appointment will also receive a much-coveted PapaKåta pink leather planner! Call 01904 702 100 or email tellmemore@papakata.co.uk to book.
