We are thrilled to be packing up our Goose & Berry van once again to join PapaKåta at their open weekend in October! And bringing with us is a whole range of foodie treats. From mouth-watering canapes to a fill-your-boots grazing station, we will be showcasing a range of menu styles, breath taking tableware and not forgetting, our legendary/fabulous team who will be on hand all weekend ready for you to pick their brains.
2020 is the start of the Roaring 20’s and what better way to kick the decade off than thinking Gatsby, thinking big, and most importantly thinking about your wedding breakfast and what you can do that no one else has done before. Next year is the year for relaxed vibes but also to make a statement, and we are ready and waiting. From afternoon teas, to sharing three courses, we are seeing the patterns unfold already and more and more couples are choosing to opt down the route of unconventional dining. Whether it’s because it’s the year of the millennials or because you can incorporate so much of your personality into these types of menus we’ll never know. But what we do know, and as Ottolenghi once said ‘it’s vibrant and bold yet familiar and comforting; lip-smacking yet warm; simple yet daring’.

Stonor Park
Less than an hour from London and set within a dramatic, sweeping valley in the heart of the Chilterns, Stonor Park provides an idyllic setting for a wedding.
For over 850 years the house and gardens have been host to celebrations and weddings for family and friends, making it the ideal venue for your perfect day. You will have exclusive use of this superbly photogenic parkland. Backed by the ancient house and populated with fallow deer Stonor really lends itself to a stunning, totally private PapaKåta Tipi or Sperry Tent wedding.
On arrival, you and your guests will drive through the private gates and along the sweeping drive to be welcomed by the warm-bricked medieval house with its 13th-century Catholic chapel.

I capture the soft romance of the bonds between couples and the happy sweet affection that is the heart-warming essence of every wedding. I use natural light to compose the most flattering portraits, seeking to capture the gentle, joy-filled moments between soulmates.
I love to work with couples who see their wedding as a personal expression of their story, who are excited about creating a day full of warmth and love. I feel hugely privileged to witness these never-to-be-forgotten moments of happy tears as you say ‘I do’; the lingering looks of emotions impossible to put into words; the ‘I can’t believe we just did this!’ grins at each other as your families shower you with confetti; the deep affection between relatives generations apart; the laughter of friendships decades long. DJ Al Dente by Apres Ski Band
Having toured the world as a musician and DJ for more than a decade, Ali ‘Al Dente’ Wright has developed an appreciation for a range of musical genres. This appreciation makes him adept at creating the required musical mood for any occasion, celebration and venue type, catering to all musical tastes.
These days, music is easy to access, and anyone can find a chart and throw together a playlist. But to take a music selection to the next level requires more. It requires the experience and nuanced knowledge that comes from years upon years of curating and performing. Après Ski Bands’ musicians and DJs have played every corner of the world! If a client has wanted a particular band, musician, DJ or comedian (comedians bookable from our sister company www.TakingThePiste.com) to perform at their special event, we’ve worked out the details, logistics and prices to ensure that happens. Music-wise, our bands, solos, duos and DJs have played intimate events in venues such as Tipis, gardens, chilled sets in 5* hotel lounges, large weddings in grand château cellars and huge hotel ball-rooms for 800 guests or more with multiple band line ups. Some events – and increasingly, weddings – are veritable festivals and we can coordinate and arrange all of it.
