Meet Teepee Wedding #PapaCouple Alice & Scott
Last week we met our first #PapaCouple Anya & Craig who are planning their Sperry tent wedding. It’s now time to introduce you to our teepee wedding #PapaCouple Alice & Scott.
Their story warmed our hearts and we are so excited to be following them on the final five months of their teepee wedding journey. They have shared some stunning photos from their intimate engagement shoot with Ryan Learoyd of Shutter Go Click Photography. We couldn’t possibly do their romantic story justice, so let us hand you over to the wonderful Alice & Scott.

31st May 2006, after a year of teenage flirting, we finally had our first proper date! The words from the above Bryan Adams song still as poignant today as they were back then. Who’d have thought the 80’s soft rock legend’s concert would have been the platform to change our lives forever. Fast forward 10 years, and we will be dancing to the same song but as husband and wife! Our 10 year anniversary will be the closing chapter of a perfect story and will lead us into a new exciting story of our lives together.

10 years of growing up together! Moving away to University; living together in Canada; travelling the world; getting proper jobs; buying a house; getting a dog (the ultimate commitment!!). All first steps for us, but we’ve made it through them all, loving every day and making memories that will last a lifetime!
Finding out we had won the #PapaCouple competition was truly the icing on the cake, especially as Scott had kept this a secret that he had entered us. We can’t wait to use the prize on those extra finishing touches which will make our dream wedding day come alive!

11th June 2016 is fast approaching and the wedding bells will be ringing. No doubt they’ll be butterflies, but only in anticipation for what the next stage in our lives together will hold. One thing is for sure, the day itself will be magical! We’ve chosen the perfect English countryside setting at The Hideaway@Baxby Manor, where PapaKåta will be providing us with a fairytale teepee reception venue for the most special day of lives. Everybody wishes for perfection on their wedding day, and we feel we have that with our teepee adventure in the depths of Yorkshire tranquillity.
Five months & counting till the big day!!!…
