Some of our top wedding trends of 2016 will be brought to life in our gorgeous Teepees and Sperry Tents at our Spring Open Weekend. We hope you can join us at Escrick Park Estate on the 19th and 20th March where our tents will be full of ideas to look out for and be inspired by.
Authenticity is one of our key wedding trends for 2016. Many couples are seeking an authentic experience for their wedding day, with old-fashioned quality, natural surroundings, honest sharing food, textural materials and stylish but simple details. Our Teepees and Sperry Tents will be organically-styled, with a clean palette and beautiful green foliage. Pantone’s Colours of the Year 2016, Rose Quartz & Serenity, will add some pops of pretty pastel perfection.
Our Spring Open Weekend Look Book
We’re very lucky to be collaborating with not one, but two, National Winners at The Wedding Industry Awards for this year’s Open Weekend! Lucy MacNicoll Floral Design, who won Wedding Florist of the Year, will be creating beautiful floral designs in our atmospheric Teepees. We’ve also teamed up with Dominique from Poppy Pickering, Wedding Cake Designer of the Year, who will be showcasing some of her delectable creations. The talented Firenza Floral Design will be styling our Sperry Tent, working the key Pantone shades into calm green foliage, including designing statement floral chandeliers.

Décor wise, our tablescapes will include rustic-luxe details such as tactile linens layered with clean crockery and coloured glassware. Wedding chill-out lounges remain as popular, with couples wanting to create a more laid-back and homely feel to their celebrations. So we’ve added some new pieces to our on-trend finishing touches, including these dreamy dove grey day beds.

Unique wedding bars are still big news for 2016. This year we’re introducing our hugely popular 4m circular oak bar into the teepees, creating a show-stopping bar tent with Speakeasy Libations shaking up some inventive cocktails, and in the Sperry Tent we’ve added a super-stylish prosecco bar! And we’re taking the idea of a ‘feast’ back to its roots with our friends at Feast Yorkshire. Imagine gathering your nearest and dearest together, kicking back and enjoying delicious family-style food sourced from round and about Yorkshire.
