AUTUMN OPEN WEEKEND: STYLE DETAILS & INSPIRATION

For the PapaKåta Autumn Open Weekend on the 12th & 13th October, we’ll be showcasing our beautiful Tipis and Sperry® Tents in the idyllic surroundings of Stonor Park. Our Autumn Open Weekend styling will reflect influences from this year’s most popular and successful styles, whilst forecasting trends for the 2020 wedding and event year ahead. You can expect to see timeless tablescapes and up-to-date florals against the backdrop of our stunning Tipis and Sperry® Tents

In this post, we’re giving you a sneak peek of what awaits you at our upcoming Open Weekend, as well as a window into next year’s wedding and event season styling…

Inspired by a couple of our recent PapaKåta Sperry Weddings (see the galleries of PapaKåta couples Harriet and Ed and Emma and Tannah to see why!) the Autumn Open will take on a dreamy aesthetic.

Foliage in muted greens such as eucalyptus will accompany soft blousy florals in blush, peach and cream. Cloud like hanging florals will add to the ethereal feel and the addition of pampas grass will soften the edges and give a nod to this seasons revival for all things 70’s.

Warm tones of amber and gold will run through the tablescapes and the addition of candlelight will create ambience and drama. Whilst the colours may be inherently Autumnal, they will also hark back to those hazy Summer days of late, giving the effect of the beating sun on a desert plane.

Alongside our stunning Sperry® Tents and beautiful Tipis, there’ll be lots of other wonderful suppliers at the Open Weekend to help you with every stage of the planning. And of course, the PapaKåta team, who will be on hand to show you around and talk through the finer details of your wedding or event.

It won’t be the first time our Sperry® Tents and Tipis have called the beautiful setting of Stonor Park home. However, it is the first time we have had the pleasure of calling this stunning location the venue for our bi-annual PapaKåta Open Weekend. We can’t think of a better spot to showcase our tents; allowing the Sperry’s clear sides and the Tipis raised opening to make the most of the infinite views and natural surroundings of Stonor Park.
