2 weeks until our Autumn Open Weekend – 11th & 12th October!
Whilst we’re all enjoying an Indian Summer, it’s hard to believe it’s only two weeks to go until our Autumn Open Weekend. And this time we’re so excited to be bringing our teepees and Sperry tents together at the beautiful Escrick Park near York.
We’ll be there from 10am-4pm on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October, and would love to see you there. The tents will be showcased in all their glory with some beautiful style ideas to inspire you. It’s also a great chance to talk to the Papa Event Planners about the logistics and nitty gritty of every aspect of your event.
Hog & Apple will be serving up some mouth-watering sharing platters
I think it’s fair to say we’re all big food lovers here at PapaKåta HQ. So we are always keen to bring the region’s best foodies to the Open Weekend.
On Saturday 11th October Hog & Apple will be hosting the PapaCafe. And forget all preconceptions that come with a traditional hog roast, these gentlemen have upped their game, and this time they’ll be coming all guns blazing with a feast suitable for a king!
From charcuterie style meats, to sharing platters and canapés… these guys will be bringing an element of raw talent and back-to-basic styling which will make your taste buds dance with delight.
On Sunday 12th October, Eat me Drink me will be gracing us with their presence, and oh boy do they have a treat in store! With a mix of rustic charm and beautiful detailing, their food looks almost too good to eat. But we were lucky enough to sample their gorgeous sticky toffee pudding, so take it from us that you’ll love what they will be serving up.

And if that’s not enough for you, then we’re delighted to announce the return of Medici Macarons. Carefully crafted using only natural products, Lynne has mastered the art of perfection and her display looks quite simply at home within a PapapKåta tent.

We are also very happy to have the very talented Firenza Floral Design and Lucy MacNicoll Flowers working their magic with some beautiful floral creations. Lucy will be dressing the teepees, whilst Fiona will be styling the Sperry tents, with show stoppers including an amazing flower-covered arch and floral curtain. Wow!
